LOW CURRENT TECHNICIAN IS NEEDED:

Technician Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Install, troubleshoot, test and repair of low voltage systems (DATA NETWORK,
CCTV, INTRUSION ALARM, FIRE ALARM, INTERCOM).

2. Coordinate with clients to install systems on-site.

3. Respond to repair calls.

4. Read drawing to determine how to best install the components and wiring.

5. Test all systems and troubleshoot any issues.

6. Teach the client how to use the system.

7. Install necessary interior and exterior wiring for equipment and appliances.

8. Assist with in shop repairs of electronic equipment.

9. Install, test, and maintain UPS batteries.

10. Attend training, workshops, in-services, and continuing education as requested by the
department supervisor.

11. Maintain regular and prompt attendance in the work place.

– Technician Requirements and Qualifications:

– Technician certification
– Knowledge and ability to use computers and programs.
– Skilled use of test and repair equipment.
– Electrician experience
– Drawing reading skills
– Knowledge of electrical safety procedures.
